the idea is simple, but making it happen might be harder then you realize - especially if the site isn't already set up for that. We just have to remember, the Mods WANT to approve picts - so if they don't, there is a reason for it. :-)

4 illegal pics u could have it so u click on something to ban them without knowing who they are, & it would no doubt make all uploaders feel better knowing they aren't being discriminated against. let them work it out themselves why they werent approved

It's because of the "illegal" pics that some members try to upload, and therefore need to be banned. It's also so we can answer your questions from time to time. Some input from us is better than none, Yes?

If I reject "a lot" of pics from one person, I try to remember. I'm NOT going to answer every person who asks why a couple of pic got denied, but I don't mind answering a few from time to time.
Honestly, It has nothing to do with the uploader. When I upload, DU and HP don't care that it's me...trust me. I get tons rejected all the time. We're here to help...and if you let "EGO" get in the way of helping out the site, you're doing a crappy job.
It would be nice if there was some kind of feedback to know why a pict was rejected. I think it would cut down some of the "bad" uploads over time as people learned.

Getting "pissed off" has never, nor will it ever, get in the way of a good pic.... That would be plain stupid.
gonna have to agree with hebe. Overall, I think they do a pretty good job. I'm sure it *s them to deny something they'd love to approve.
.. . unless you piss them off, i suppose. Point #2. I highly suggest word searching the gallery to make sure your uploads aren't already in there. Odds are they ARE. With 50,000 + pics? Think about it. Don't get discouraged. Just figure it out. 
To jake, and others that feel frustrated, it took me a while to figure out, but, 1. the mods here know what they're doing. They know what pics are in here already. They aren't perfect, but they do want good new pics in here. And there isn't favoritism.
The vast majority of photos aren't your pics anyway. they are just ones you 'found' shall we say. you shouldn't assume ownership just because you were the first to find and upload them. if the owners knew they would most likely ask admin to remove them
its happened to me a few times, im thinking mine arent allowed because the moderator thinks the girl im uploading is over 18, whatever. If u dont get ur pics in, who cares? enjoy the fact that this site is here and you get to enjoy the pics
