Not to mention both myself and Admin have tried letting everything through except dupes and illegal content and STILL people constantly bitched. So that method doesn't work either.
It's funny, the people that upload the most and/or have the best keep to dump ratios hardly ever bitch about approvals. And believe me, they get many photos rejected as well. Go figure.
That way only the good stuff (as determined by popular vote) gets through, and you're not stuck paying a ton for server space. I love this site, but my biggest criticism is inconsistent approvals. This way there is no blame to pass around. Everyone wins.
Admin: I definitely agree with you on the "hell" section being a bad idea. But what about screening for illegality and dupes only? Let everything through and if it doesn't pass to Main after 3 weeks, remove it from the server to save space.

That would be hard to do since a lot people upload illegal photos. The hell part of your idea would get the site closed down in no time... it would make things easier, but nobody wants the site to get closed down.

...as it receives 20 keep votes it goes into a section called EARTH (which is the current new upload section). If while in hell it receives 20 dumps its eliminated totally. Ok back to EARTH, then keep the same current arrangement, with the main gallery...
