Although, a team pic with Ettu in it might do a bit better.
I agree with DU. Most "team pics" don't do well here. If you have pics of them in smaller groups, and are something other than your standard pose, then those pics stand a better chance of making it.
Question for the approvers what was wrong with my last batch of uploads (it was a bunch of cheerleaders pics and some of a soccer team) not complaining just wondering if its anything specific i can fix?

Math is for losers. Really, this is simply a better pic than the other one and the math gods knew it, so they overrode the scores. So there!

I could believe that if they were several pictures apart, but for the immediate difference between two individual pictures right next to each other, it seems to me as if the difference would be less than a second, and to think it would need 9 to happen...

It's possible, because the process of moving pic from the Latest Uploads to the Main Gallery usually takes a minute or two. The pics move one at a time, so there's the chance of some last second voting to throw it off. Again, just a guess.

the main gallery is in order (supposedly) by keep percentage by day. homepage is the highest keep percentage at midnight (Chicago time) and the next pic is the next highest back to the previous days homepage.
No idea. The only thing I can think of, is when the "process" of changing main gallery pages started, one of the pics moved to the top spot, then the other pic got a couple of last second votes placing it ahead of the other. Just a guess though....

Kevin, it's a legitimate point. HP has a 20.18to1 ration, while the runner up has 25.5to1
