at 754lrx i tried reuploading a pic there now, it said it was waiting to be reviewed, so it seemed to have sorted otself out. i thought id upploaded ten pics or whatever that were rejected and didnt have enough keeps to raise the limit. it ok now, though.

deleted: Depends on the pic. Just remember that pics are reduced once uploaded...both in quality and size. Crop out extra space, and make sure the pic is good quality to start with. File size doesn't matter, dimensions preferred are 400 on the small side

nycscott: If you have zero in queue and none are in your uploads, they were rejected. You currently have 0 in queue and asked for feedback...in which case it's impossible for me to give you feedback. Ask again when you upload more.

Ahh, ok I just remembered reading on one of the hps that Du likes the height and width to be at least 400 ( I.e. 400x400) so that they weren't too small when they were approved, but I could be wrong

booby: I don't think so. The majority of my pictures start out at well over 1,500 kb and have to be resized in order to upload. When I resize them they usually end up between 250-400.

deleted: I've found that images under 100 kb tend to not fare to well here because images are scaled down when they're accepted. Incidentally, pictures over 300 kb usually do pretty well. Most of mine start around the 300-600 kb range.

flatout: put the pics from your iphone onto your pc and then upload them from your pc. if they are in the wrong picture format (as the iphone does when it screen captures)i.e not jpg, png or gif, open the pic in paint and then save it as a jpg from paint.

You don't HAVE to upload. If you want to help contribute, great! but don't expect me to be cordial if you make my job (or any approvers job) more difficult by uploading pics you KNOW are subpar and/or against written (& common sense) guidelines.

Approving everything that is legal will not happen again. It didn't work the first time and it won't work this time. People need to use common sense and stop feeling that they are entitled to have their pictures approved, no matter how poor of quality.

Those guidelines have evolved over the last couple years and we expect a higher quality to even get to the voting stage. Otherwise the upload section is filled with 75% garbage and 50/50 ratio pics and people stop voting after the first couple pages.

pologoalie8908: People don't request I approve them. They request feedback for why I reject them. When I first started doing this (over 2.5 years ago btw, with a small break) Admin gave me guidelines on what he didn't want approved along with the rules.

Feedback was a courtesy so that you all could improve your uploads. Some of you are just using it for feedback on just those uploads, and not taking anything from it. If I tell you a pic is too blurry, don't upload 10 more blurry pics next time.

Warning to all - if you ask for feedback, at least read the upload rules first. If you ask, and 8/10 of your pics are blurry, have URLs, are pro models, have children in them, etc; you'll just be blocked from uploading.
